Become an external partner
- work with tomorrow's talents
As an external partner in the Human & Legal Innovation Hub, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with students, who are interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. You will get invitations and suggestions for collaborations, both through matchmaking events, that we host at the South Campus, and targeted individual matches based on interest.
You will be given assistance in finding the right professional environment for your collaborations, and you will receive ongoing sparring in the collaboration process. As an external partner, you can collaborate with students in many different ways. Read more about the options in the list below.
Ways to collaborate
UCPH offers a wide range of courses related to innovation.
As an external partner, you can visit some of these innovation courses and give presentations on your business as well as your experience with innovation and entrepreneurship. You can also give presentations on specific topics, such as product development, business funds, and more.
You can collaborate with a specific course or develop new courses and workshops that involve your organization and its current challenges.
Some innovation courses work with various cases during the semester, and your company can become one of them. Get inspired by the course list and see if there are any courses where you can imagine your business being the case.
We make sure you are in contact with the relevant innovative teachers, and we offer you regular participation in new courses.
Become a counselor or mentor for students working with their own startups in the Human & Legal Innovation Hub. In the past, we have had external partners such as KPMG Denmark and Integra Law to visit and advise our hubsters.
Students at UCPH can do an internship in many of the university's different education programs.
The student completes a course where they solve specific tasks and preferably larger projects for a company. The students at our faculties have a high academic level, and the sky is the limit when it comes to what tasks they will be able to solve in the company.
Companies can get:
- specific tasks solved by a professionally qualified student.
- assistance in planning and implementing major or minor projects.
- access to specific competencies in an area where the company wants to optimize, develop or solve challenges.
- access to relevant knowledge, analyzes and methods from the student's field of study.
- a competent, dedicated and curious partner, who can bring new energy to the company or organization.
A project-oriented course typically lasts 3-6 months at the company.
The company contributes to the student's learning process with experience, resources and networks, as well as professionally relevant work assignments. The University and the Innovation Hub assist the companies in announcing project and internship proposals, matching to relevant academic environments and guiding the students during the collaboration. The internship concludes with the student's exam.
Matchmaking
In the Human & Legal Innovation Hub, we host matchmaking and career events at the South Campus, focusing on various themes and professions, where students and external companies can meet and find the right partner. In the past we have focused on startups, legal tech, humanities in tech and international law.
Especially for startups and innovation projects
We offer extra support for startup companies or independent innovation projects in companies and organizations, that want to collaborate with our students. Contact Anna Vestergård Jacobsen at anna.v.jacobsen@sund.ku.dk for a talk about your needs, challenges and opportunities to collaborate with students.
As an external partner, you can collaborate with students on their bachelor thesis or industrial thesis. The students work extensively with corporate challenges. They solve tasks with a high degree of specialization and focus on examining, for example, theoretical and methodological contexts in the challenge. The students have 4 months to write their thesis and 3 months to write the bachelor thesis.

New and fresh perspectives on well-known issues
Pre-recruitment opportunities among Denmark's best educated candidates
Access to the latest knowledge from the university world
Access to internal recruitment after graduation
Free job posting for UCPH students
In UCPH Projects & Jobs, you can make free posts about available student jobs via the key-self module. Companies and organizations such as Nykredit, DONG Energy, Danish Energy Agency and the Ministry of Environment have already used this opportunity.
