The history of the hub

Human & Legal Hub was founded in 2017 when South Campus (then "KUA") opened at Islands Brygge. Back then, we worked under the title of "KU PLUS".

In 2019 we changed our name to "Human & Legal Hub" to more clearly communicate that we represent the humanistic, legal and theological approach to innovation and entrepreneurship.

We started as a part of the I&E-initiative across the six faculties of University of Copenhagen, but since 2022 we have become a part KU Lighthouse: University of Copenhagen's new innovation center - which works as the assembly point for all innovation across the university and our external partners.

In KU Lighthouse we work together on entrepreneurial programmes, workshops and other events. We also work with development of business relations, networking and strategic fostering of innovation and entrepreneurship within education in general.
